While it may look like I have a more reasonable TBR, the Goodreads Choice Awards come up this month and along with that, my now annual challenge to read through at least two categories, maybe three. On top of that, I have decided to make my own page count reading challenge a la National Novel Writing Month. (RIP OG Nanowrimo).
I would love to directly exchange the 50k word count for pages but I have this little thing called work which interferes with my life. Oh! I also need to sleep. Instead, I have set two goals – one I think I have a much better chance of reaching and the other a stretch goal.
Stretch goal: 35,000 pages (I will convert audiobook hours to pages.)
“Reasonable” goal: 30,000 pages
The books I list below are my only “required” reads of the month. I also obviously plan to add any books that I need to complete the Adult fantasy and YA fantasy categories as well as whichever third category that I choose. I will also read as many of my eARCs and ALCs to make progress there and on my HRCYED challenge.
