It’s coming a little late but here’s the final wrap up of my bonkers September reading challenge.

Play enjoy this graphic novel at all. Laura Dean is a terrible girlfriend and the main character really doesn’t learn much.
I thought this was an excellent take on middle grade friendship as well as learning how to make room for a parent’s new love interest.
Well, I continue to enjoy this series, part 2 dragged on longer than it should have and included too many panels of explanation. The telling not showing does not translate well to graphic novel.

This graphic novel did not work for me. I liked the unicorn focused parts, but the parts that went into Greek mythology did not really seem to fit and I do not think would appeal to middle grade readers.
I really enjoy seeing this storyline develop and the introduction of more characters as well as how they work together.
This is another delightful Doctor Who comic. I don’t have much else to say.

I really enjoy the historical nature of this series and how the mangaka develops the primary character. I will definitely keep reading.
I enjoyed returning for the second volume in the series. This is volume shows a little bit of growth in the primary character, although I would like to see a little more.
While I enjoyed seeing another aspect of the whole operation, it feels like there are now more characters involved in the story that can be easily given enough page time in a graphic novel of this length.

This was cute and wholesome. I may continue in the series, but it is not a high priority.
This is a cute, wholesome, standalone YA graphic novel featuring LGBTQIA+ and disability representation.
This was an average YA romcom graphic novel. I liked the love interest character, a whole lot more than the main character.

I honestly do not remember much about this fantastical horror why graphic novel. I did not engage much with the narrative, primarily because it’s not my preferred genre.

I read a whole bunch of these towards the end of the month to get in both the number of graphic novels that I wanted for my 60 and 30 challenge as well as non-fiction pages for my magical Readathon high calling. Some of them appeal more than others but that’s what you get when you have a series like this written by a wide variety of authors.
